CapitalBiotech®BioelectronSeq 4000 Sequencer uses semiconductor chip sequencing technology in conjunction with clinical testing kits and automated analysis software, to provide independent genetic testing capabilties in hospitals and medical labs. 

The sequencer leverages this semiconductor sequencing technology to determine base sequences in real-time by detecting the PH changes caused by the H+ ion flow generated during DNA replication. It is appropriate for independent genetic testing in hospitals when combined with clinical testing kits and automated analysis software.

1. Flexible sequencing throughput

The base sequence is determined using cutting-edge semiconductor chip sequencing technique by monitoring the pH shift induced by the flow of H+ ions created during DNA replication in real-time. Depending on the type of chip selected, a single run can generate anywhere from 10Gb to 60Gb of data, making it ideal for use in clinical testing laboratories.


2. Short sequencing time

The entire sequencing process can be completed in less than two hours, more than three times a day. This allows laboratory staff to maximize their time and increase productivity.


3. Long sequencing reads length

Sequencing can detect cell-free DNA in peripheral blood, with a read length of 200 bp on average and up to 300 bp at its maximum.


4. Strong scalability

In order to accommodate a wide range of sequencing read lengths and data throughputs, users need just select sequencing chips with varying throughputs, without having to rework their instruments' core hardware.


5. User-friendly interface

Easy to use and master in a single day of training.
