SNP Detection CapitalBiotech

For mutation loci identified at the genome-wide level, independent large sample size verification is usually required to be performed. AgenaMassARRAY® mass spectrum, as a medium-throughput detection platform, is a preferred typing detection method with less than 300 SNP loci, offering high typing detection quality and efficiency.

Experiment Process Specifications Advantages Agena Massarray Mass Spectrometry Platform

Experiment Process

Sample RequirementsPurity: OD260/280 ratio should be within 1.7-2.1

DNA amount: ≥1μg

DNA concentration: ≥20ng/μL

Integrity:

The genomic main band should be clear, free from RNA contamination,

protein contamination or degradation, with molecular weight ≥10Kb.

FlexibleThe SNP loci of interest and samples to be tested can be selected freely
AccurateDirectly detecting the molecular weight of the target, offering highly accuracy and effective discrimination of allelic genes
High-throughputEach reaction well can perform up to 40 multiplex reactions at most, and each chip can complete multiple SNP detection experiments of 384 samples
Cost effectivenessNo requirement of fluorescence labeling reduces the analysis cost of each genotype; applicable to the verification projects of large sample size (with fewer than 300 SNP loci)
ConvenientAvailable for designing and testing of more than 95% proved SNPs; professional primer design and genotyping software enable automatic judgement of typing success
